As each generation takes its place in the sun, it is important
to recognize the contribution and continue the vision of those who laid
the cultural roots from which we thrive. Advancement in the quality of
life for older adults in the Japanese American community acknowledges
their sacrifice. To nurture the vitality of the elderly in a warm congenial
atmosphere is to share the shade of all that they have contributed. Yu-Ai
Kai helps provide for the well-being of Japanese seniors through relevant
programs, bilingual services, dissemination of information affecting the
older adults and intergenerational support programs.
